EOMM is what apex has and it is the worst FKN matchmaking system, its based of retention n Nothing to do with gamers skill lvl how long can it keep u engaged, and it manipulates your wins and losses accordingly

This is so stupid. The bad players greatly outnumber good players. I'm a 2 KD player and I don't consider myself good, but what this is now is the game generating my outcome based on how they think it should be. I believe ping should be king, before things were like this people did not quit as often. Bad players, know that they are bad and want to get better... if you shelter them it does not give them a chance to see the improvement. My friends that are worst than me refuse to play the game because of this reason. One dude said he enjoyed playing when it was natural, not when they tried to hide him from good players.

Why should I (a wayyyyyy below average casual player) have to play against someone that games 10hrs a day? I go to work and come home to play for an hour or 2 a night...I don't want my matches being against those that base their lives around this game

Its not about a fair experience. They literally will do whatever they think will keep you playing longer. Its predatory, EOMM is directly related to the same mechanisms behind casino games of chance and how much your willing to lose before you quit. There is a whole science to this that these companies spend more and more on to keep you playing the game and buying.

I simply do not understand how this can be so over-complicated. K/D is one of the best barometers of skill. There's no reason for players sub 0.75 to ever play with people above that unless they're playing with friends on it and it averages out. It all just needs banding. 0 - 0.75 // 0.75 - 2.00 // 2.00 - 4.00 // 4.00 - 6.00 // 6+

I've never, ever had a bot game. Ever. Every game when I play is like playing against pros. That's why I barely play anymore.

is not simply to add ranked mode so whoever wants to compete will be able to while its showing they play competitive and the casual which will obviously show its casual so when streamers use it will show they played noobs on stream

You cannot convince me they do not calculate store purchases / battle pass owning in the system. It is so clearly easier when you spend money, especially in the shorter term.

My KD is 0.6. I've never quit a game like a child though, quitting achieves absolutely nothing.

Lol. Their study shows that mw3 couldn't keep it's player base, casual players stopped playing. And that skilled players play the game more.

Whatever they had when the changed the match making during advance warfare-BO4 they need to just go back to that.

Multi is unplayable. As a good player I’m expected to carry every game against players slightly worse than me with straight bots on my team. I’ll have 50+ whole team has 12 and 10. Like why ? Why can’t you just put me against good people alongside good people ?

I dont know how they math it out, i dont know how to fix it, all i know is its not working. in the last 4 months or so the matchmaking has absolutely destroyed me. every single warzone match has been an absolute sweatfest, my lifetime KD has dropped from just shy of 1.7 and is now at 1.3 and dropping may not sound like a lot, but to impact lifetime stats that much basically means my KD has gone consistently negative, for 4 straight months

Why do you guys think they are making aim assist closer and closer to aim bot? They want to close the skill gap.

Having meta weapons is bs. All weapon classes should have baseline damage with attachments only affecting the handling of the weapon. Currently if you want to win you have to ise meta with specific attachments. This kills experimentation and ruins the game experience in my opinion.

More than a decade ago everyone was new to call of duty. Statistics are skewed not because there are more veterans through the years. I think im casual but I can be sweaty too. We are just at a hyper competitive environment and information is readily available on UA-cam to establish foundational skills.

Honestly we need to let it die and just let casuals play the game. Then they'll care because they're not going to have a lot of players those casuals are only going to play one or twice a day and then be done

What was great about call of duty 4 on PC was custom community servers. Id love to have that back or just input based match making

I’m a bot at 0.7 along with my mates and we’ve all quit! We were constantly facing games with nukes in and streamers when they shouldn’t be in our lobbies, but everyone is using vp.

I just throw and stop trying...like ill switch to melee weapon.

i quit bc of shadowbans and no ranked and bc pubs is basically like ranked but for no reason.. not fun
